Desa Weathers, the chief instructor and operator of the New SchoolHouse Education System, has over fifteen years in the childcare and education industry, and eight years’ experience with training. She superintends the restructuring and reorganization of small, midsize or large childcare organizations. With specializations in staff planning, training, curriculum and instruction, minimum standards, center/school design and designing best practice strategies for daily operations.
The position of the Child Care Concierge is one that provides policy and procedure writing, childcare center building and organization, training and consultation/technical assistance, to centers/schools/homes that are looking to increase functionality of their overall operations. This includes but are not limited to, creation of center staff and parent handbooks, design of training and procedural binders, assessment and organization of early care and education environments, curriculum planning and design, development of strategies and caregiver/teacher support; and training presentations on topics related to child development, and behavior.
Mrs. Weathers holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development with a Concentration in Children Studies, and a Master’s of Education degree in Counseling. She is registered with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System as a Master Trainer. Desa Weathers certifies Day Care Credentials recognized by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
